Compose screen and camera layouts in one click
The Appearance panel now brings format and composition together without coupling them. Choose any aspect ratio, resolution, or frame rate, then independently arrange the screen and webcam using five project-wide layouts: freeform, screen left, webcam left, screen top, or webcam top. One choice applies consistently to every asset in the project.
- Layout templates create clean edge-to-edge splits with no padding, rounded corners, borders, or background leaking beneath the webcam region.
- Webcams preserve their original proportions with a centered crop instead of stretching, and remain stable while screen zooms animate.
- Freeform remains fully hands-on: drag the webcam anywhere, resize it from the Webcam panel, or scroll over it to change its size directly on the stage.
- Zoom points now map correctly inside split layouts, so clicks and camera movement land where expected.
- The Webcam panel now lists only real camera sources. A simpler Static image row lets you take a camera snapshot or choose an image from disk.
- Added project-wide screen and webcam layout templates with independent aspect-ratio, resolution, and FPS controls in Appearance.
- Added pause-aware AI narration across Kokoro, PocketTTS, and Supertonic: type
_for a short pause or use an exact token such as[pause=2s]. - Made narration timing visible beneath the main timeline, with live draft updates while editing and reliable replacement of existing microphone or webcam audio.
- Introduced project-wide scene transitions, including direct cuts, fades through color, scale fades, wipes, and pushes—with the same result in preview and export.
- Added timed screen annotations for screenshots and videos, with arrows, rectangles, circles, transparent fills, direct stage positioning, and timeline visibility independent from camera zoom points.
- Introduced AI-assisted video enhancement, automatic cursor tracking, and smarter zoom analysis.
- Made camera motion feel more natural with smoother cursor travel, settled click timing, and optional background zooming.
- Added a browser-local recent-project library, stronger project persistence, and per-asset visibility controls.
- Redesigned the Studio workspace with focused inspector panels, cleaner thumbnail actions, a compact annotated timeline, and aligned editing surfaces that stay accessible while scrolling.
- Refreshed the homepage, pricing, help center, and the overall public experience.
